The attention to the present is a intentional approach to attention. It allows us to observe our sensations, emotions, thoughts and external phenomena, without judging, while we are living experiencing them.

“Plain attention is an intentional focus of the attention, without judgement, which allows to observe our physical sensations, emotions, thoughts and external phenomena, while we experience them”.

The important fact of the “attention to the present” is its practice. No teaching on self-attention is more important than practice.

All knowledge about self-attention, is unable to produce the benefits its practice produces.
